General Questions

ScholarUnlock is a comprehensive academic platform that provides access to various educational resources and study materials. Our service helps students access premium content from popular educational platforms through secure authentication and cookie management.
ScholarUnlock uses token-based authentication combined with our CookieManager extension to provide secure access to educational platforms. Here's how it works:
  • Generate an authentication token through our Discord bot
  • Install the CookieManager Chrome extension
  • Enter your token in the extension
  • Import cookies to access premium educational content
ScholarUnlock supports a wide range of educational platforms including:
  • Chegg (homework solutions and textbook access)
  • Course Hero (study guides and documents)
  • Various other academic resource platforms
Our platform is continuously updated to support additional educational services.
ScholarUnlock offers both free and premium features. Basic or Free access is available for all users once they sign up or generate a token in Discord, while premium features require authentication through our partnered website and Discord server we have teamed up with for priority premium users. Premium access provides enhanced functionality and access to additional educational resources with no limit at all, priority giveaways and personal accounts when requested.
Yes, ScholarUnlock prioritizes user security and privacy:
  • All data transmission is encrypted using modern protocols
  • Tokens expire automatically after 3 days for security
  • No personal data is stored permanently
  • The extension uses secure Chrome APIs and follows Manifest V3 standards
Yes, ScholarUnlock can be used on mobile devices. Once you create an account, you can generate a QR code where you scan with your mobile phone, to transfer your session without needing to generate token or input it again. We made sure we make the system as easy as possible.
ScholarUnlock is continuously maintained and updated. We regularly release updates to:
  • Add support for new educational platforms
  • Improve security and performance
  • Fix any reported issues
  • Enhance user experience
Authentication tokens are designed for individual use and should not be shared. Each user should generate their own token through our Discord bot or create their own account. Sharing tokens may result in security issues and potential account restrictions, which we do not enforce as much, but not recommend.

Token Authentication

To get an authentication token:

Method 1: Slash Command

  • Join our Discord server
  • Use the /token command in any channel
  • The bot will send your token via direct message

Method 2: Natural Language

  • Simply type "token", "generate token", or "gen token" in any Discord channel
  • The bot will automatically generate and send your token
Authentication tokens are valid for 3 days from the time of generation. After 3 days, you'll need to generate a new token. This short expiration period helps maintain security and prevents unauthorized access.
When you generate a new token, all your previous tokens are automatically deactivated for security reasons. Only your most recently generated token will be valid. This ensures that you always have only one active token at a time.
If you didn't receive a DM with your token, it's likely because your Discord privacy settings block DMs from server members. In this case:
  • The bot will automatically send your token as an ephemeral message (visible only to you)
  • To receive DMs in the future, enable "Allow direct messages from server members" in your Discord privacy settings
  • You can find this setting in User Settings > Privacy & Safety
Yes, you can use the same token on multiple devices. However, keep in mind that:
  • The token expires after 3 days regardless of where it's used
  • You can use tokens on shared or public computers, but be mindful to log out and also get a new token because tokens can still appear on the input your token field even when logged out, unless you manually delete that as well
If your token is showing as invalid, try these steps:
  • Check if your token has expired (tokens last 3 days)
  • Make sure you copied the entire token correctly
  • Generate a new token using the Discord bot or if you are a web user, you can request new token easily and input your email
  • Clear your browser cache and try again
  • If the problem persists, contact support through Discord or on our website support system

Troubleshooting

If the extension isn't working properly, try these troubleshooting steps:
  1. Check that your authentication token is valid and hasn't expired
  2. Refresh the webpage you're trying to access
  3. Clear your browser cache and cookies
  4. Disable other extensions temporarily to check for conflicts
  5. Try generating a new authentication token
  6. Restart your browser completely
If you can't see the CookieManager icon:
  • Click the puzzle piece icon (Extensions) in your browser toolbar
  • Look for "CookieManager" in the dropdown menu
  • Click the pin icon next to CookieManager to pin it to your toolbar
  • If it's not there, check that the extension is actually installed and enabled
  • You can also access it via the Extensions menu (chrome://extensions/)
This can happen for several reasons:
  • Cookies not imported correctly - Try importing cookies again
  • Domain mismatch - Make sure you're on the correct domain for the cookies
  • Expired session - The original session may have expired
  • Security measures - Some sites have additional security checks
Try refreshing the page after importing cookies and wait a moment for the session to establish.
Network errors can be caused by:
  • Internet connectivity issues - Check your internet connection
  • Server maintenance - Our servers may be temporarily unavailable
  • Firewall or antivirus blocking - Check if security software is interfering
  • VPN conflicts - Try disabling VPN temporarily

If the problem persists, try using a different network or contact support.
